Wayne State University, with the support of TB Europe Coalition, is conducting a research on TB and mental health in Europe and Central Asia. On 24 October 2023, TB Europe Coalition hosted a webinar on sharing experiences on pilot data collection for four World Health Organization (WHO) indicators for the European region to measure the level of engagement of communities and civil society organizations in the national TB responses in the region.

On 15 June, 2023, TB Europe Coalition (TBEC) organized a webinar featuring a presentation by Treatment Action Group’s TB Project Officer, David Branigan, on the practical actions advocates can take to promote the adoption and scale up of shorter, safer 1/4/6 regimens for TB prevention and the treatment of drug-sensitive and drug-resistant TB as well as supportive diagnostics. The webinar discusses specific advocacy strategies to ensure these regimens and diagnostics are included in Global Fund proposals as well as in National Strategic Plans, to promote increased availability and access in countries. This webinar is part of the TBEC webinar series: The ABC for a TB Activist.

TB Europe Coalition publication: Why is the multisectoral accountability framework to end TB (MAF-TB) so important in the fight against TB and what audiences should be engaged in its launch?

The TB Europe Coalition released a brochure aiming to inform the National TB Programs, civil society organizations, TB-affected community, and stakeholders about the three assessment tools in the field of TB developed by the Stop TB Partnership in relation to TB stigma, gender-related and service-related barriers.

The brochure provides a brief overview of up-to-date prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of TB based on human rights, high ethical standards, and a people-centered approach.

On 13 December 2021, the TB Europe Coalition will conduct an interactive webinar on parliamentary engagement and EU advocacy. TB survivors/patients and people living with HIV are particularly encouraged to participate.
