Communication to facilitate initiation and launch of MAF-TB at the country level
TB Europe Coalition publication: Why is the multisectoral accountability framework to end TB (MAF-TB) so important in the fight against TB and what audiences should be engaged in its launch?
The TB Europe Coalition released a guideline for civil society organizations and TB-affected communities 'Communication to facilitate initiation and launch of multisectoral accountability framework to accelerate progress to end TB (MAF-TB) at the country level'.
The publication contains comprehensive information for civil society:
- about MAF-TB, its components and stages of implementation;
- about basic components of the communication process: goals, key messages, calls to action, communication channels;
- practical recommendations on selection of communication components, their optimal application and semantic content in the context of initiation and launch of MAF-TB to be used by target audiences from among national decision-makers and stakeholders implementing activities to end TB.
The Guideline, prepared by the TB Europe Coalition, is developed in coordination with the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe and the financial support of Stop TB Partnership and the European Union.
