The World Health Organization launches the World TB Day Advocacy & Communications Toolkit, featuring key messages and calls to action, as well as promotional posters, tiles and infographics.

The World Health Organization (WHO) released the World TB Day Advocacy & Communications Toolkit, featuring key messages and calls to action, as well as promotional posters, tiles and infographics.

You are invited to use the materials in the Toolkit to build awareness, mobilize action and amplify key messages on efforts to end TB. Social media assets in the toolkit are available in all six UN languages - Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.

The theme of World TB Day 2023 'Yes! We can end TB.' aims to inspire hope and encourage high-level leadership, increased investments, faster uptake of new WHO recommendations, adoption of innovations, accelerated action, and multisectoral collaboration to combat the TB epidemic. This year is critical, with opportunities to raise visibility and political commitment at the 2023 UN High-Level Meeting on TB (HLM on TB) in September. The spotlight of World TB Day will be on urging countries to ramp up progress in the lead-up to the 2023 HLM on TB.

Dr Tereza Kasaeva, Director of WHO's Global TB Program, shared her video message in the lead-up to World TB Day, highlighting critical priorities and the need to fast-track progress towards ending TB to save lives. Watch the video here.

On World TB Day, WHO is calling for action on several fronts to ensure that the commitments made to end TB are achieved.
