Union Conference Community space competition

The Community Advisory Panel to The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (Union Community Advisory Panel, U-CAP) launched a competition for the name of the Community space at the Union conferences in order to make it more attractive, interesting and vibrant.

Criteria:

A. The name should reflect the spirit of the Community: it should be catchy, but more importantly it should also be a ‘call to action’. It should encourage people to come and experience it.

B. It should be something generic that can be used at all Union conferences from now on for continuity and better recognition and identity.

C. It should be fun.

The deadline for sending entries for the competition is 18 June 2018. Send in your entries, stating the name, which language it is in and the meaning along with a brief note on why you chose it, to paul.bransz@theunion.org and cc secretariat@gctacommunity.org. Only one entry per person can be submitted.

The winning name will be announced when the program of the 49th Union World Conference on Lung Health is launched mid-July. The prize, sponsored by the Global Coalition of TB Activists (GCTA), will be awarded at the Conference.
