Coalition of Indian activists calls for BRICS countries to triple investments in TB research
A coalition of Indian activists delivered a statement at the 6th Meeting of the BRICS Health Ministers in New Delhi, 15–16 December 2016.
The statement appealed to the BRICS nations' Health Secretaries to deepen their countries' resolve to fighting TB and called for them to commit to working with their respective Ministries of Health, Ministries of Science and Technology, and Ministries of Finance to triple their country's investments in TB research and development.

The action reinforced a petition with more than 200 signatories, delivered to the BRICS Health Ministers on November 15th, calling for the Ministers of Health of the BRICS nations to work with their governments to triple investments in TB research and development.
