The World Health Organization (WHO) released a special edition of its newsletter in commemoration of World TB Day, 24 March.
It highlights the announcement of the expanded scope of the WHO Director-General’s Flagship Initiative on TB, and the call to action urging Member States to accelerate the rollout of new WHO-recommended shorter all-oral treatment regimens for drug-resistant TB.
