WHO appeals to industry, researchers, national TB programs and other agencies to provide suitable evidence on the performance of targeted next-generation sequencing technologies as an option for rapid, accurate genetic analysis and detection of genetic mutations to diagnose resistance to TB medicines. Such data will facilitate the WHO update within the scope of the current policy.
Deadline for submissions: 30 September 2024

WHO is continuing the process of updating the TB Mutation Catalogue with a primary focus to collect TB genotypic and phenotypic data sets with known resistance or susceptibility to the new and repurposed TB therapeutics: bedaquiline, linezolid, and delamanid. If you are interested in joining the global effort to improve drug resistant TB diagnosis, consider providing genomic and phenotypic data for the third edition of the TB Mutation Catalogue through the WHO TB sequencing portal.
Deadline for submissions: 15 October 2024
