Following feedback from several partners, the United Nations Secretary-General's High-Level Panel on Access to Medicines has extended the submission deadline for contributions until 28 February 2016, 11 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
Additionally, restrictions regarding the number of contributions authors can submit, or sign onto, have been lifted. Multiple submissions per author or partnership are now permitted. The Panel invites contributions from all related stakeholders in, but not limited to, government, the private sector, research institutions, non-profit organizations, academic institutions, legal experts and patient groups that address the policy incoherence between international human rights law, trade rules and public health objectives.
In particular, the High-Level Panel will consider contributions that promote research, development, innovation and increase access to medicines, vaccines, diagnostics and related health technologies to improve the health and wellbeing for all, as envisaged by Sustainable Development Goal 3, and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development more broadly.
