The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease launched a new open-access online training course, ‘Prevent TB: Management of TB Infection’ aiming to equip clinicians, healthcare workers and national TB program managers with the skills and knowledge to better identify and successfully treat TB infection, with the specific aim of increasing country-level implementation of TB prevention.
The six-module course includes lessons on pathogenesis of TB, at-risk populations and identifying TB infection, among others, and guides learners through the process of managing TB infection.
