Global WHO consultation meeting on the programmatic management of latent tuberculosis infection

The World Health Organization (WHO)’s Global TB Programme is organizing a Global consultation meeting on the programmatic management of latent tuberculosis Infection in collaboration with the Republic of Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the International Tuberculosis Research Center of Korea (ITRC). The meeting will take place in Seoul, Republic of Korea from 27 to 28 April 2016.

The aim of the meeting is to present and discuss challenges, opportunities, and best practices on the programme management of latent tuberculosis infection and deliberate on ways to facilitate its implementation.

The working language of the meeting will be English.

A limited number of seats are available for self-funded TB programme managers or their equivalents, researchers working on TB, and community and civil society representatives. WHO is currently accepting applications to attend this meeting.

If you wish to participate in the meeting, please send the following information to hamaday@who.int by no later than 15 March 2016.

WHO will not be able to cover any travel costs, daily subsistence allowance or other costs related to your attendance at the meeting.

The selection will be done on first come first served basis and will be informed by e-mail in due course.
