Call for applications to serve on the Medicines Patent Pool’s TB Sub-Group of the Expert Advisory Group
Non-remunerated position.
The Medicines Patent Pool is inviting interested persons to serve on the TB Sub-Group of the Expert Advisory Group (EAG).
The EAG provides expert advice to the MPP’s Governance Board and Executive Director, particularly with respect to ongoing negotiations that the MPP is engaged in, and evaluates the final results of negotiations to determine whether a proposed licence agreement meets MPP’s stated goals and offers significant public health benefits. The terms of reference for the EAG can be found here.
The Expert Advisory Group is divided into three sub-groups covering the three disease areas that the MPP works in: HIV, hepatitis C and tuberculosis. The composition and structure of the EAG can be found here.
The MPP is now seeking a candidate to serve on the TB Sub-Group, and in particular is seeking someone who brings expertise in intellectual property law and/or licensing.
Members of the EAG serve in their personal capacity and on a non-remunerated basis.
