Call for candidates for the Stop TB Partnership Task Force to create the Global Plan to Stop TB 2016-2020
The Stop TB Partnership is going to develop the Global Plan to Stop TB 2016 – 2020, following up on the Global Plan 2006 – 2015.
The Global Plan is the centrepiece of the global effort to fight tuberculosis. The 2016 – 2020 Plan will set the direction for national programs to fight TB within the framework of the “WHO Global Strategy and Targets for Tuberculosis Prevention, Care and Control After 2015” which the World Health Assembly will adopt at its meeting in May this year.
To oversee the development of the 2016 – 2020 Global Plan, we seek candidates for the Global Plan Task Force. The Task Force members should be among the most experienced and respected individuals in their respective field. Task Force members will have a unique chance to shape and guide the global work on TB for the coming five years.
