The Stop TB Partnership is calling upon the cities of the world to illuminate their landmarks in red on World TB Day 2017.

This year, on World TB Day, the Stop TB Partnership is launching a global challenge "Light up the World for TB". We kindly challenge all our partners to work with authorities in cities across the world to light up their landmarks in red on 24 March 2017 to show their commitment towards ending TB.

This follows on from the success seen last year when the cities of Barcelona and Rio de Janeiro illuminated key monuments in red. This year again The Stop TB Partnership is leading by example and ensured that the landmark water fountain on Lake Geneva, the Jet D’Eau will be illuminated in red and has also approached other cities to do the same with commitment so far from the cities of Murcia, Toledo, Zamora, Santander, Madrid and Barcelona in Spain, Niagara Falls in Canada. We encourage all of you to reach out to authorities in cities you live and work and check their willingness to light up their landmarks in red. We can support you and we will then heavily promote the photographs that you send us of these lit landmarks through our social media channels.
