Strengthening accountability to end TB

WHO offers national assessment Checklist for the Multisectoral Accountability Framework for TB (MAF-TB)

08 April 2020 ¦ Geneva: The World Health Organization (WHO) released a Checklist to enable Member States and their partners to assess the status of work at the national level to strengthen accountability to End TB, principally: national commitments made, actions taken on those commitments, monitoring & reporting approaches, and the nature of any high-level review mechanisms. The Checklist has been developed in response to requests from Member States, regions, civil society and partners as a tool to support the adaptation and implementation of the WHO Multisectoral Accountability Framework (MAF-TB) released in 2019. It responds also to the UN General Assembly request to WHO to ensure implementation of the Framework.
