IT'S TIME to put women and girls at the center of TB response

On International Women's Day, 8 March 2019, the Stop TB Partnership reiterated the importance of putting women and girls at the center of the TB response.

Throughout the world, women have far less opportunity to access TB care than men and are often left to deal with the profound financial and social impacts of TB on families.

Dr Romi Singla, pulmonary physician from India, talks about the heavy burden of TB on women in resource-limited countries.
