Update: UN HLM Political Declaration Country Targets

The UN High-Level Meeting (UN HLM) Political Declaration on TB contains a number of global targets endorsed by Heads of State, including targets to successfully diagnose and treat 40 million people with TB by 2022, including 3.5 million children with TB, and 1.5 million people with drug-resistant TB.

In order to drive political commitment, monitoring and accountability of these targets, the Stop TB Partnership has produced country breakdowns for these three targets using the latest WHO data on incidence estimates and notifications. All projections were done using the TIME model implemented by Avenir Health. For the top high burden countries, wherever possible a check was done with the country National Strategic Plan and the Global Fund performance framework targets.
